St. Pete Opera’s Kiss Me, Kate

Kiss Me, Kate follows A Shakespeare troupe is putting on The Taming of the Shrew, but the cast is embroiled in interpersonal relationships that lead to offstage bickering and onstage surprises.  Cole Porter’s score, performed with the original-size Broadway orchestra, is filled with great numbers such as So In Love, Too Darn Hot, and Brush Up Your Shakespeare.  Bring your tap shoes because you’ll want to leave the theater dancing.

Turkey Trot

What to Do on a Rainy Day in St. Pete Beach

Tropicana Field

Originally named the Florida Suncoast Dome, Tropicana Field’s 1.1 million square feet include unique design features and fan amenities found nowhere else in Major League Baseball. The field is the perfect place to enjoy a game on a rainy day and experience the Rays Touch Experience. This 10-minute experience is free to all fans attending home games is the first of its kind at a professional sports venue. The 35-foot, 10,000-gallon exhibit is located just beyond the right-center field fence at Tropicana Field and allows visitors to feel the majestic animals the Tampa Bay team takes its name from.

Chihuly Collection

The Chihuly Collection presented by the Morean Arts Center is a stunning, permanent collection of world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly’s unique artwork in a magnificent 10,000 square foot gallery.
