Neiman Marcus presents The Dali Benefit Fashion Show
The Dali Museum and Neiman Marcus invite you to feast your eyes on 30 surreal works of wearable art created by teen designers. The Dali’s Fashion Design program, sponsored by Neiman Marcus, invites high school students to learn the fundamentals of design, construction and runway presentation from experienced artists and designers. Drawing inspiration from Salvador Dali’s infamous dinner parties, budding Tampa Bay high school talent (grades 9-12) create tangible connections between art and fashion.
25th Annual St. Pete Beach Corey Area Craft Festival
American Craft Endeavors is continuing an annual spring tradition with the St. Pete Beach Corey Area Craft Fair, bringing contemporary crafts from more than 100 of the nation’s most talented artisans to this free community event. A variety of jewelry, pottery, ceramics, photography, painting, clothing and much more, all handmade in America, will be on display. An expansive Green Market with plants, orchids, exotic flora, handmade soaps, gourmet spices, and freshly popped kettle corn further compliments the weekend, blending nature with nurture.
Captain Memo’s Pirate Cruise

Captain Memo’s Pirate Cruise is a family-oriented pirate-themed day cruise located right in the heart of Clearwater Beach, Florida. They pride themselves on catering to both children and adults within a family friendly atmosphere. With day and sunset cruises, it’s easy to imagine the days when these waters were rife with looting, plundering, and gold-burying pirates. Treasure Island Sport Kite Competition and Festival

Competitors from around the U.S. gather on Treasure Island Beach during the Martin Luther King Holiday weekend. Come be amazed by the talented kite flyers performing to music at this two-day event in dual-line and multi-line sport kite flying in a wide array of disciplines. There will be plenty of time to be social and spend time with the family on one of the best kite flying beaches in the country as large show kites and giant bubbles paint the backdrop for an exciting competition. You might even see candy fall from the sky!
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert
Experience Star Wars as never before with Ruth Eckerd Hall’s first-ever live performance of Star Wars Live In Concert: Empire Strikes Back! This concert will feature the full- length iconic film on the big screen with The Florida Orchestra performing the iconic music of John Williams. The Star Wars saga has grown into one of the most iconic film productions of our time. After the destruction of the Death Star, the Empire has regrouped — with Darth Vader leading the hunt for Luke Skywalker. Don’t miss the Premiere of the Empire Strikes Back in concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall!
The St. Pete Beach Family Aquatic Center
If you’re looking for fun in the sun for the little ones The St. Pete Beach Family Aquatic Center is for you! This play area consists of a mushroom-shaped waterfall and colorful dumping cones as well as slides for older kids. It’s a great place for the whole family!
