Wild Kratts®: Creature Power®
May 1-16

Now through May 16th Get ready for an extraordinary adventure! Building on children’s natural interest in animals, Wild Kratts®: Creature Power®! transports visitors to the Wild Kratts world, where creature adventures engage them in wide-ranging STEM experiences. Diverse environments immerse children and families in explorations of animals, habitats, and the relationships between them. Here they can take on challenges and missions centered around the lives of animals and their creature powers.

Debbie Bright: Kaleidoscope
May 1-9

Debbie Bright: Kaleidoscope is a special exhibition of paintings selected from Debbie Bright’s Kaleidoscope series showing at The Bula Barua Gallery from now through May 9th. The exhibition focuses on the artist’s exploration of fauna and architecture local to the beautiful city of St. Petersburg. Each work is painted in acrylics to look like a mosaic, with hundreds of tiny sections coming together to create images of eye-catching animals and dynamic cityscapes. You can also meet the artist Debbie Bright in the gallery Saturday May 8th!

Porchfest
May 15

Historic Roser Park will host Porchfest May 15th! Stop by for live music, community sponsors, and a fun walking tour of one of the ‘Burg’s most stunning neighborhoods. This exclusive annual event combines St. Pete’s musicians, local businesses, and a neighborhood community all rolled into one. Guests will stroll the winding, enchanted streets of Historic Roser Park, as local musicians play from the front porches and yards of various homes.

Weeki Wachee Springs
All Year Long

Weeki Wachee Springs is one of Florida’s oldest tourist attractions, entertaining generations of families before there was Disney World and Busch Gardens. Today, families continue to flock to the state park north of Tampa where real mermaids swim. After about year long closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the park and mermaids are welcoming guests back once again with your health and safety in mind!

Tusks to Tails: A Fossil History of Florida
All Month Long

Step back into time when furry mammoths roamed Florida and gigantic sharks swam our seas with Tusks to Tails: A Fossil History of Florida. This new exhibit at the Tampa Bay History Center is a must-see for anyone who is really into fossils! While you’re there, check out the Treasure Seekers exhibit to learn more about real life pirates and conquistadors and more about Florida and Tampa Bay’s fascinating history!
